oh it bigger than i tought. Are those little hatch on the side only for docking or is there some kind of small shuttle/escape pod?

50 meters is pretty big... roughly the size of a Boeing 767. The hatches on the side are for personnel (single door) and cargo (double doors).

There's something familiar about this design. I'm not saying you stole it or anything, but I can't help but feel I've seen this ship before, and its gnawing at me.

Granted that most atmospheric shuttles have a similar look, I'm not sure what you might be thinking of. The most direct inspiration was the Taral V shuttle from SWTOR, but I doubt that's what you had in mind.

It doesn't really matter that much, regardless. Now that I think about it, I think it was the x-plane I was thinking of. Good design regardless; it looks like it should be an atmospheric shuttle.
