Pirate Girlby ~AriochIV

Bonny Anne and her trusty Brown Bess. She was created as a pair with the Major at the request of a friend, as part of some kind of school project. Myself and several other artists were given two sets of adjectives, and we were to come up with characters to match them. Unfortunately, the adjectives in question have been lost to time.

The original was done with Micron Pigma ink and Painter 5.5, I re-inked and touched it up in Photoshop. Some problems with it had been nagging at me for years.

Heh, she's cute. I like how her costume is fairly simple, but still conveys the whole pirate lass vibe. My only real issue is the hat - it looks like it's sitting on top of her head instead of wrapped around the top of her head.

Also, that's one hell of a long gun. I like gunslinger girls with the guts to carry around big weapons like that, and actually use them.
