Stars in Shadow: Barren Planet Ingame by AriochIV Stars in Shadow: Barren Planet Ingame by AriochIV
An alpha screenshot from Sven Olsen's Stars in Shadow game project. Planet and background assets (and other graphics) by me, UI by Sven.

This is the generic airless rockball world. It's based on equal parts Moon and Mercury. The version at lower right is a colonized planet with settlement and city light layers.

The current plan is for some kind of release early next year. When there's more information on release or testing, I'll post about it here.

Oh nice, I like it.  Liking the touch of the city lights as well. It feels believable for a planet with little or no atmosphere.

Yes. Each planet type has a variety of exploitation graphics layers that depend on the population size and how the planet is developed.
