Description
These are the new gas giants in Stars in Shadow. In-game, these are 3D rotating spheres, and so they were created as 1536x768 textures with multiple layers. For other examples of the planets in game see terrestrial planets and homeworlds.
The names are just identifiers to distinguish the different types (a hot-Jupiter, a Jupiter, and a Saturn/Neptune); these are generic planets that appear randomly.

Oddly enough, most hot Jupiters with measured colors are either bright blue or a sooty brown.
