Stars in Shadow: Gremak Ships by AriochIV Stars in Shadow: Gremak Ships by AriochIV
A batch of Gremak ship assets for the Stars in Shadow game project, in both "Imperial" and "Marauder" color schemes.

Gremak warships can be observed in two very distinct color schemes: the ivory and gold livery of the Gremak Imperial Fleet, and the infamous red and yellow warpaint of the Marauders. The Marauders exist on the fringes of the Gremak empire, living by piracy and raiding neighboring aliens for slaves and plunder. The Gremak imperial government disavows any affiliation with the Marauders and maintains that they are a outlaw faction, but it is a poorly-kept secret that the destination for Marauder-taken slaves is often the estates of the Gremak aristocracy.

edit 1/6/14: added carriers and colony ships
edit 1/9/14: added battleships and escort cruisers

Nice Design an Coloration. For This Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up . ^^

Now to the Critics.: The Ship with the Large Bio-Dome is a Colony ship, Why does a Colony ship need such a Large After Hangar. From my Thinking the two small Front Hangars are more then enough. The Space the After Hangar could be used by some extra Cargo bay or as a extra Engine.
Now to the Critics part two.: The Carrier from my thinking is a Easy Target to kill (Open your moan) some (Missiles, Torpedos, Rockets or Kamikaze Fighter) only need to hit the Very Large Hangar Bay and then the Carrier will Kill him self. (Internale Explosen) In the Gremak's Concept art the "CV-2" is more fittet to a Carrier.

However, this is my opinion and everybody has the right to his own opinion

We can imagine that there must be some larger landing craft stowed in the Colony Ship's hangar bay that require a larger aperture to deploy.

As you can see in the original designs, there was the idea of having two carriers: one was a smaller hybrid carrier designed for close-in action, and the other a larger "supercarrier" that gave up some protection in favor of greater fighter carrying capacity. It was decided to cut the smaller carrier, mainly because the battlecruiser and command cruiser can fill the role of the hybrid warship/carrier.

Amazing, again!  What classes are we looking at?

In order from smallest to largest: destroyer, light cruiser, heavy cruiser, command cruiser, battlecruiser. The light cruiser can be configured as a scout, and escort or a long-range raider. The CC and BC have hangars for either fighters or planet-raiding troops.

what kind of weapons do the Gremak use?
AriochIV Featured By Owner Dec 18, 2013   Digital Artist
All the races have access to the same basic tech tree, but most also have a few custom tech options. The Gremak have access to a specialized version of the pulson, which is an energy torpedo; it's shorter-ranged than the normal pulson, but available much earlier in the tree.

The turrets shown in the graphic above are ion cannons, which are the standard mid-game beam weapon.
