Second Six: Map of Temir by AriochIV Second Six: Map of Temir by AriochIV
Obligatory map of the world for my fantasy project, Second Six.

I did this when I totally should have been working on something else. :D

This world is a hostile place, dominated by desert and wasteland, in which both water and magic are scarce. In the few oases scattered between these wastes, life flourishes and so does magic, but both are as much a hazard to mankind as they are a boon. When not carefully controlled by humans, magic is a capricious and dangerous force, twisting flora and fauna into monstrous forms, spontaneously generating malign creatures of pure magic, and even reanimating the dead. Humans who would live in this land must choose either a free but harsh life in the wastelands, or else must seek the protection of the Marked magic-using nobility in the oases, who can sometimes become as twisted by magic as the land they inhabit.

I did reuse of of the graphic elements I created for Tom Mays' Alaria map, so I want to give him credit for that.

I assume/hope this setting will eventually be available for purchase?  What system will it be designed for, or will it be its own thing?

The Second Six material here constitutes just my ideas and concepts for a fantasy story, either comic or prose based. But it would be cool to turn it into an RPG setting. That's all in the future at this point.

Wow, this is really cool! It definitely has a sense of mystery and danger; all those empty spaces and wastes make the 'civilized world' in the center seem that much more important.

I'm a big, big fan!

Thanks! That's really the concept of this world -- that the civilized areas are small oases in a vast, hostile world.

Then you succeeded, and it's supremely cool!

Zooming out a bit, it seems like this is a world that's majority land, as opposed to majority water.

I've been there more times than I'd like to really admit >.>

Looks good, though it looks a little iffy on the resolution.
